The first two days of the Queens Championship have not disappointed with shock first round winners taking the limelight.
The top three seeds in the draw all crashed out in unimpressive displays.
Favourite and five time winner of the tournament Andy Murray lost 7-6 6-2 to Aussie Jordan Thompson. The world number 90 was a lucky loser into the draw after Brit Alijaz Bedene withdrew.

Thompson played the best match of his career saying, “Definitely, beating the World No. 1 and Grand Slam champion, and beating him on grass at Queen’s, yeah, it’s definitely ranked No. 1.”
The Australian managed 12 aces and saved all three break points against Murray and didn’t even face a break point in the first set.
It is Murray’s first opening-round loss at The Queen’s Club since 2006, when he fell in the round of 64 to Serbian Janko Tipsarevic.
Another surprise victory was for another Australian Thansai Kokkinakis, defeating Miles Raonic 7-6 7-6.

The 2016 finalist spoke on his loss, “Today I just didn’t find my way, I had more opportunities than I felt I should have needed. I just wasn’t efficient in those moments.”
This was Kokkinakis’ first top 10 victory and will help him get back on the comeback trail. The 21 year old has faced a number of injuries during the past two seasons. Last year, he played only one tour match after enduring shoulder surgery in late december.
Kokkinakis only returned to tour singles action in Lyon last month and won his first singles win of the season last week at the Ricoh Open beating world number 86 Mikhail Youzhny.
Stanislas Wawrinka was also on the wrong end of a big upset losing to Felicano Lopez 7-6 7-5.

The Spaniard hit 16 aces and saved both break points he faced. It was a single break in the second set clinched it for Lopez, who carried on his good form after reaching the Stuttgart final last week.
Some mediocre shocks in the first round of Queens that may have fallen under the radar were that of 18 year old Denis Shapovalov beating Brit No 2 Kyle Edmund 7-4 4-6 6-4. Qualifer Stefan Kozlov also made into the second round overcoming fellow American and world number 25 Steve Johnson 3-6 6-1 6-1.
