Player Ratings- Leicester City 3-1 Derby County

Leicester City

Zieler 6 – Had little to do, yet lacked confidence when called into action.

Chilwell 7 – Looked good going forward as well as defensively. Strong in the tackle.

Amartey  6 – Poor first half facing Anya, got better as game went on.

Wasilewski 7– Lack of pace showed at times, dealt with any problem well though.

Benalouane 7– Calm presence, was hardly troubled.

Mendy 6 – Broke up play well, however lacked composure in possession.

King 7– Worked hard for 120 minutes, controlled midfield battle, in the right place for his goal.

Albrington 7– Willing runner, assist for King’s goal. Put in a number of good crosses.

Kapustka 7– Bright performance from the youngster, was only forward thinker for Leicester in the first half.

Gray 9 – Superb goal and crosses. A threat all game.

Musa 6– Worked hard, but rarely troubled Derby defence.

Mahrez 5 – Poor, looked like rather would have stayed on the bench, lacked confidence.

Ndidi 6– Great strike for goal but did little otherwise.

Slimani 5– Missed a sitter, but held up the ball well.

 

Derby County

Mitchell 5 – Little to do, but did well for his age.

Christie 6- Looked strong, average game.

Keogh 5- Slow, could’ve given away two penalties on another day.

Shacknell 6 – Made number of important clearances.

Lowe 5 – Had trouble dealing with Gray all game.

Butterfield 6 – Kept Derby ticking over in possession, never really a forward threat though.

Johnson 5 – Battled, but was wasteful in possession.

De Sart 6 – Fired over wastefully for his only chance, but never stopped running.

Camara 6 – Good goal, poor first half but sparked to life in the second.

Blackman 5 – Never a threat all game.

Anya 7- Good first half, Derby’s best attacker.

Nugent 5- Glanced couple of headers wide, didn’t do much else.

Vydra 4 – Provided little threat.

Russell 7 – Looked good on the ball, was a danger from range.
